Why does it matter what shape the earth is? It matters in every way, because our entire worldview is based on who, what and where we are. Heliocentricism is not only false, but it flies in the face of God’s Word. It matters because, especially as God’s ambassadors on earth, we should know the truth and the level of influence and deception the enemy has this world under. It matters because our God is very near, present and intimately involved in what is taking place with his creation.
“The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?” Psalm 113:4-6
