“Our only fight in Jesus is a spiritual fight against crime, corruption, false doctrine, and anything else that can harm our eternal lives in heaven, (and the lives of others.)”

Answering the Jews’ accusation before pilate that he is contending for the throne of caesar and should therefore be crucified as a political activist, [not as a robber, as robbers were not crucified,] Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. if my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from here.”
Jesus was saying He did not come to submit the world to Him or to rule the world as a physical king in a physical country. He came to bring His Spiritual Kingdom to earth. Being spirit, one cannot “join” His spiritual Kingdom. One cannot “convert” to His Kingdom. One cannot give your time, blood, money or anything else to “get into” His Kingdom. In Jesus’ own words, one cannot physically fight for His Kingdom. One can only accept the Almighty King of this Kingdom from heaven into your own heart, and thus become a citizen of heaven, (Jn. 1:12-13; 3:3-5.)
When one sincerely accepts Jesus, the King, Savior, God, Mediator, Redeemer and Blessor as their own King, you are REMOVED FROM THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS AND spiritually BORN INTO this Kingdom of Light, Truth, Salvation, Redemption and Blessing. In fact, His Kingdom comes to LIVE CONSTANTLY IN YOU “until the end of this world,” (through your death or through His return.) (Mt. 20:18-20.)
Therefore, let us not believe all the Kingdom-Now church dogmas, which tell us God is going to ‘restore’ this fallen world into a ‘good’ world, and set Himself up in a physical country such as Israel. Jesus is into complete renewal. He did not restore His personally born again disciples as if they needed to be patched up. He completely TRANSFORMED them into His spiritual children of Godly Love in truth and light.
The same will happen with this world.
Therefore, Jesus DOES NOT have a physical temple, country, throne, or anything physical in this world. And so, He wants born again disciples who are gathering spiritual treasures in HEAVEN, not on earth. Because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Throughout the New Testament Covenant, Jesus focused on people; on their salvation, redemption, and blessing in Him according to His SPIRITUAL principles of self-denial, death to sin, etc. Our only fight in Jesus is a spiritual fight against crime, corruption, false doctrine, and anything else that can harm our eternal lives in heaven, (and the lives of others.)
Of course we have to work and live life while on this earth. In this world, where planning and responsibility for our lives are concerned, we should do our best in everything because we will have to give an account of everything and everyone God had entrusted to us. Spiritually, however, we have to heap up treasures in heaven by living according to God’s Moral Law of LOVE. If we are really living towards that incredibly holy place, heaven, we must also live the holy life, which Jesus entrusted to us. We should love others enough to take them with us should they choose to follow. We should glorify God with everything we can in His truth and with all sincerity, and FLEE from all the worldly desires and sins, which can bind us to earth while robbing us of heaven.
