Sound of Freedom or Just More Externalization of the Hierarchy?

Updated and reposted.

Leaving the 99 to save the 1, “Jesus” (Ballard played by Caviezel) singularly heads off into the jungle to save a trafficked child from a stereotypical drug-lord villain. That is the closest thing to a gospel message you’ll find in the film Sound of Freedom.

Cursed is the man who puts his hope in man, and who will strengthen the flesh of his arm in him, and withdraws in his heart from the Lord. (Jeremiah 17:1)

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. (24:5)

From the moment of its release, people on social media were talking about the problems with the film. Problems with Tim Ballard’s history and associations; implications of fraud and the huge money-maker the film was for he and his organization, Operation Underground Railroad. The fact that it was promoted by Mormons, bankrolled by questionable characters (Carlos Slim, John Paul DeJoria), and its star Jim Caviezel being a Catholic, when both Mormonism and the RCC are infamous for pedophilia… The list goes on. But despite its lack of a Christian message, despite its Q-ness, despite the fact that the film paints an utterly false picture of child trafficking, in spite of it all, Christians are flocking to see Sound of Freedom.

“It’s important to raise awareness!”

Raise awareness in hopes of what? In hopes of stopping a problem we’ve been misinformed about? The film is not a true depiction of the very real horrors of satanic elite pedophilia and child trafficking. In hopes of defeating something as demonic-as-it-comes with our “hope” placed securely on the shoulders of “awakened,” carnal man, joining arms with people who are in bondage to demonic deception instead of sharing the gospel with them? Hey, I’m all for awareness. But not at the cost of biblical discernment. Not at the cost of saving lost souls.

I’ve looked at the various angles, but beyond the obvious division it’s stirring, it’s clear that the chief purpose of the film is to further normalize / indoctrinate the world into occultism – or as Theosophist Alice Bailey called it, “The Externalization of the Hierarchy.”

“Aw c’mon, that’s a stretch.”

Is it? In the video below, journalist John Brisson details many of the troubling connections behind Ballard, Caviezel and Angel Productions. There’s a lot there; 2 hours worth. But I had second thoughts after posting it, because of an equally easy trap to fall into these days.

Believers can spend endless hours listening to Christian “experts” and trying to connect all the dots. But rather than being edified and built-up in the Lord, can come away feeling less intelligent, less studied, less confident. Rather than prayerfully searching the Word for themselves and trusting the Holy Spirit to guide them, they find themselves once again fighting with their intellect/ in the flesh, placing themselves “under” the teachings of man (“experts,”) unwittingly focusing on the world and trying to unravel everything the evil one is doing.

I can say that because I’ve done it. And make no mistake, that, too, is by design; that, too is their externalizing / indoctrinating the world into the Mystery Schools.

The truth community came out exposing Sound of Freedom pretty much the minute it was released. So, there’s a second layer with this film. More division. More focus on carnal man from the Christian “truth” community.

Hopefully we know that Christians were not called to fix the world. We’re warned not to join ranks with unbelievers; people who hold to a different Christ (ie. Mormons); people who have not placed their faith in the True Son of God. We expose evil, but with one purpose: to point the clear way to Christ and His gospel of true hope for mankind beyond this world.

The enemy is subtle, and his aim is always the same; to remove faith; to simply take our eyes off of God. It’s possible as a genuine believer in Christ to take our eyes off of what’s important, not just to find common ground with people fighting evil in the world, but even to expose the networks of false light.

Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. (Gal 6:1)

It’s not my intent to be overly critical, since I don’t know many of these people personally. I’m not going to say they don’t have a relationship with the Lord. I’m not going to waste time looking for all the possible clues that they’re “disinfo” or whatever. Instead, I’m just going to suggest that a good question to be asking ourselves today might be:

Do we know more about the beliefs and workings of the enemy or about the Word of God?

“But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” (Rom 16:19b-20a)

We’ve been looking at how Protestant Christianity was infiltrated and steered away from the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ, back to (Papal) Pietism, and reduced to (Freemasonic/carnal) Moralism. Protestantism was led to embrace a carnal/papal Social Gospel through the “revivals” and “awakenings.” As a result, today, rather than being focused on saving souls, Patriotic, Evangelical Christians are uniting together with those who have received a false gospel to fight against obvious evil in the world. And many exposing that are still in a worldly frame of mind and missing the big picture.

I’d initially planned to write about the film in light of the infiltration of Social Justice into Protestant Christianity through the revivals, but the topic was just too broad, so I’ll cover that in another post. Anyway, here’s the video.
