“What does it mean to breathe life into an image? Is it really just making a statue move around? Or some kind of robot? Hologram? AI Avatar? What is the image of the beast? What does it mean to make it speak? What does it really mean to worship it?… the information war for our minds is what we’re really dealing with…
The info war for our minds. The way propaganda in all it’s forms, not just the media, but even in theology is being used to control and manipulate people and push agendas far beyond what people want to conceive possible. But the further you dig into that information war, the further back it goes.
And it’s bizarre because lately I feel like I’ve been going through a similar sort of phase or season, as I did when I first came across enclosed cosmology and all the questions relating to what the Bible really has to say about it and what are the implications of all this and these kind of mind blowing realizations about a lot of things that forces you to challenge a lot of your assumptions and challenge what you were taught your whole life, but then also kind of makes things make way more sense; much simpler at the same time….
And now with eschatology I find myself going through a very similar experience… ” – TTISTF
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Rev 13:15-18)
