ISIS GOES ON HORRIFIC BEHEADING SPREE

William Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C., believes the U.S. policy in the Middle East is hamstrung by American dependency on Saudi Arabia as an economic and political partner in the region.

“We are the puppets of the Saudis and we can’t stop the Sunni rebels, because that would upset the Saudis,” Murray said.

In June, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who heads Iraq’s Shiite-dominated government, declared “we hold Saudi Arabia responsible” for giving financial aid and moral support to the Islamic State.

Murray said the “extreme violence of ISIS and other Sunni terror groups can be linked directly to Islamic schools funded by Saudi Arabia.”

He said even schools operated by the founder of the Nigerian jihadist group, Boko Haram, were financed by the Saudi royal family.

“Without Saudi textbooks declaring the supremacy of Islam and the destruction of democracy, young men could not be recruited to come to Iraq and Syria to commit genocide against Christians,” Murray said.

WND recently reported evidence the Saudis are heavily funding jihad in sub-Saharan Africa.

Jihad Watch publisher Robert Spencer told WND that whether or not the Saudis are actually supporting the Islamic State, if the West doesn’t respond, it can expect “more frequent jihad terror attacks and increasing cultural aggressiveness from pro-Shariah Islamic supremacists’

The response in the West to the horrific beheading of dozens of soldiers at a Syrian base has been muted, according to an analyst in Washington, partly because Saudi Arabia allegedly is a major backer of the perpetrators, the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and greater Syria, the ISIS.

Islamic State guerrillas attacked the base in Raqqa, Syria, for two days before seizing it and leaving more than 50 soldiers dead and another 200 unaccounted for, according to the Syrian Human Rights Observatory.

Video, which has not been independently verified, shows Islamic State guerrillas putting the severed heads on poles.

Jihad Watch publisher Robert Spencer told WND that whether or not the Saudis are actually supporting the Islamic State, if the West doesn’t respond, it can expect “more frequent jihad terror attacks and increasing cultural aggressiveness from pro-Shariah Islamic supremacists.”

Spencer said Christians should be among the strongest defenders of freedom.

“Prayer, but not quietism,” he said of the response. “We must act to defend freedom. Remember that the heart of the Islamic world – Egypt, Syria, etc. – was once Christian. It could happen here.”

Responding to the administration’s silence concerning anti-Christian violence in Iraq and Syria, Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., spoke out on the House floor.

He read from an NBCNews.com article titled “Has Last Christian Left Iraqi City of Mosul After 2,000 Years?” that recounted the ordeal of Samer Kamil Yacub, who was alone when four Islamic jihadists carrying AK-47s arrived at his front door and ordered him to leave the city.

The 70-year-old Christian had failed to comply with an ISIS decree to choose one of three options: stay and pay a tax, convert to Islam or be killed.

Yacub said a fighter told him: “I have orders to kill you now.”

But Yacub said everyone in his neighborhood was Muslim, and about 20 of them came to his front door to try to convince ISIS not to kill him.

NBC said the rebels spared Yacub but threw him out of the city where he had spent his entire life.

They also took his Iraqi ID card before informing him that an elderly women would be given his house.

WARNING: This video of atrocities committed by Islamic jihadists is extremely graphic:

The Arabic language narration of the video of the slaughter of the Syrian soldiers that has been circulating on the Internet has been translated by Shoebat.com:

In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful. He had fulfilled his promise and defeated the enemy by himself. Your brothers here, the soldiers of the Islamic Caliphate, Allah had blessed us a great blessing from him.

He had allowed us to defeat Division 17. This is a victory from Allah. We thank Allah for our strength and power, and our armament. Today, and until the day of judgment, devils who Allah had allowed us to defeat, and to be hung in this place, and we ask Allah to complete this victory the great victory of your brothers in the Islamic Caliphate.

Allah had promised the believers that they will dominate the land as it was dominated previously. And will strengthen the religion to be acceptable to him.

And after their fear, he will give them safety to worship me, that they may not worship others besides me; and whoever disbelieves, these are the wrongdoers. They must worship me “and must associate anyone with me” (Quran), and that means that they believe in the absolute oneness of Allah. The nation has been victorious, that its base is the unique oneness of Allah. Just as Muhammad was victorious in Mecca when he was surrounded for three years, but the oneness faith has proclaimed itself in the hearts in the individuals; and Allah gave them victory over the land. Here are your brothers, by the will he gave them victory with the oneness of Allah, to defeat the kafirs (unbelievers). But when the oneness was proclaimed, your brothers were victorious. Here are heads that have ripened, that were ready for the plucking.

WND reported in March 2013 that U.S. government silence regarding anti-Christian persecution has been the rule.

Paul Marshall, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute said the U.S. “has tended to underplay religious persecution in general – and called it something else – and, in the case of Christians, often does not mention what is happening in places like Iraq and Egypt.”

“Or, the federal government mentions the fact of persecution of people, but, often with Christians, not their religion nor the fact that they are being persecuted because of their religion, as distinct from race, etc.,” Marshall said.

Atlas Shrugs publisher, author and Islam analyst Pamela Geller believes that U.S. failure to combat jihad overseas will have dire consequences. She believes jihad is coming to America.

“We will see civil strife and warfare in the streets,” she said.

“Americans should act to defend their homes and families. No Christian has the right to obligate someone else to turn the other cheek,” Geller said.

Geller said the American church has been largely silent on the issue of Islamic persecution of Christians, because “the churches are controlled by leftists who believe in dialogue more than they do in truth.”

Spencer said many churches don’t respond because it “would not be multicultural and would harm interfaith dialogue.”

He said he has seen reports of ISIS and other jihadists entering the U.S. through the southern border with Mexico and isn’t expecting a response from the Obama administration.
