I recently learned that John Todd had claimed John Wesley was a witch hunter before he “got saved.” This is from the interview.
“they used John Wesley against us. Because before his salvation, he was a paid for witch hunter in England, who was responsible for thousands of people’s deaths in England. But that was before his salvation, and they neglect to bring that up, since they don’t believe in salvation.” – John Todd
I haven’t found another source to confirms Todd’s claims about Wesley, but everything that I’ve learned indicates—to me anyway—that he was not spirit-born.
In any case, the witch hunters were the real witches—their horrors vilifying Christianity and casting it—and the supernatural in general—into the realm of “dangerous superstition,” thus helping to usher in the Age of Reason.
But The Revivalists, who feigned to make Christianity intellectually palatable again, re-introduced the supernatural as Mystical ‘Holy Spirit fire’, thus completing the occult dialectic and return to Catholicism’s counterfeit Christianity. But what they presented as an “enlightened” return to true faith was, in reality, the same occult dialectic; Mystery School Religion in the name of Christ, but this time with the common man at the helm; The antichrist spirit. The weight of that awful truth really hit me.
I already knew the Revivalists weren’t just sprinkling bad doctrine into Protestantism like Johnny Appleseed or something, but these weren’t merely corrupt men. This was pure evil.
But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them. (2 Tim 3:13-14)
So, I decided to take a little break from the enlightened tombs of hellfire and mysticism to focus on some of the modern madness-sold-as-truth that people are gobbling up today as a result of their deceptions.
A question that continually comes to my mind when I hear one of today’s fad doctrines is; “where is Christ’s love in that?” and “How is that supposed “truth” advancing the Gospel?”
I thought I’d ask those of you who think you’ve got a special handle on the truth; Is there LOVE in the narrative you’re so convinced of?
Revering Men
So, you revere Whitefield, Edwards, Wesley, Darby, whoever. Have you really dug into your heroes and learned who they were? Or do you just believe whatever your pastor tells you he learned in Seminary about them?
I’ve spent two years now digging into these men. I’ve exposed the origins of their doctrines as Mystery School deceptions and learned that they were not the champions of truth we’ve been told, but deceivers; servants of the evil one, cloaked in a message of light. The question isn’t whether we know what was in their hearts—we don’t. The question is; did their lives display Christ’s love? Do their doctrines align and stay within the confines of God’s Word?
Calvinists
To the Reformed crowd that rightly rejects the Revivalist’s Mysticism but is perma-glued to Philosophical Intellectualism, do you know or even care that your carnal reasonings are based in Mystery School/Enlightenment thought? You talk of Christ’s love, but twist scripture to fit your cerebral claims, maintaining that He only died for some of mankind—the portion you just happened to be born into.
God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim 2: 3b-4)
I pray He helps you see that in your intellectual pride, you are withholding His love and hope from the lost world that He died to save.
Armenianists
And to those who want to shackle people with rules on how to get or stay saved—those who’ve been sucked into a carnal dialectic of rejecting Calvin’s predestination in favor of Arminius’ free will, and then declaring that Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) is heresy, please tell me this:
Who persuaded you that you have even the faintest ability to save yourself?
OSAS is not a heresy. It is the VERY GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. (Jn 10:28-29)
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:38-39)
So, I ask you, where is the love in your intellectual Tom foolery?
Ecumenicals
And to you Ecumenical folks who are so quick to toss aside any right understanding of the Gospel and sound doctrine to find common-ground with Catholicism, Judaism or any other false “ism” that sets itself up in the name of God or Jesus Christ—how is it loving to leave people deceived, hellbound, and falsely assured of eternal life?
Zionists
To those of you who support an Atheist Nation that wantonly murders its neighbors, including Christians, women and children; where is the love for the Palestinians? And where is the love in not sharing the Gospel of hope with the people you say are a chosen race, the Apple of God’s eye; people who your false doctrine tells you will find Jesus in a time of horrible Tribulation—after you have safely been raptured away to heaven? How do you Old Testament nationalists miss 1 Pet 2:9?
But YOU are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, A HOLY NATION, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (1 Pet 2:9)
Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. (Gal 3:16)
And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. (Matt 3:9)
Hebrew Roots
And to those who want to follow your Hebrew Roots (HRM), who want to make sure you’re keeping Torah and celebrating all God’s Old Covenant feasts; you who want to pronounce God‘s name just the right way so that He will hear your prayers— Do you realize that your teachings were developed out of Armstrong’s heretical Worldwide Church of God (WCG)? One HRM site specifically states:
“Among all these groups it has been the WCG [Worldwide Church of God] which has had the greatest impact in promulgating this teaching and the keeping of the Old Testament laws, nationally and internationally ….” “What is the Hebrew Roots® Movement?”
Do you know, or even care, that your Sacred Names practice comes straight from the Occult/Kabbalah; the religion of the god of this world?
Do you know that you’re living in the Wrong Covenant and that you completely nullify the New One through Jesus Christ by adding Law to it?
For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. (Js 2:10, see also Gal chapters 3-4 and the entire book of Hebrews).
Now, I know you HR people like to listen to the words of Jesus and not the words of Paul, but don’t you realize that the new covenant was not instituted until the cross? Jesus ministered under the Old Covenant and Paul under the new. So, in rejecting Paul you’re rejecting the cross of Christ!
You take pride in your knowledge of the law, but Jesus boiled the law down to love:
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the great and first commandment.
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matt 22:36-40)
And it was in perfect Love that He fulfilled the law.
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matt 5:17).
So, please tell me, how you are honoring Jesus by returning to the law that He lived and died to fulfill?
Where is His love in your teachings? Where is your love for the lost?
Nephilim
To those who interpret Genesis 6 to say that angels came to earth and forced themselves on women resulting in a race that was born damned and beyond the reach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You took the brief verses in Genesis 6 and built an entire doctrine on prophecy teachers who extrapolated more details out of the mystical book of Enoch. You claim that the spirits of these damned creatures still walk the earth today. Well, I have some questions for you:
Have you spent any time studying out just who the sons of God or the Nephilim even were… I mean; in your Bible? I doubt it. No. Your itching ears want to fill in the details where the Bible is silent, so you listen to the vain teachings of men.
Where is the love in your sensuous narrative, and how does it advance the miraculous truth that God, the source of Life itself, out of His great love for mankind, sent His only Son to bear your sin upon the cross? (Jn 3:16 or 2 Pet 3:9)
What is accomplished for the Kingdom of heaven in spreading a fable that was common among the witches of the 1500s, fables straight out of the mystical books of Kabala? Where is love in spreading the very “serpent seed” doctrine that drove the Nazis, the KKK and others to torture, maime and murder countless men, women and children in the name of “pure blood?”
Rather than carefully studying scripture to make sure you are following sound doctrine, your itching ears want to know more than what God has chosen to tell us. You want to collect tidbits from anywhere you can find them to discover something fascinating and mysterious, something that makes you feel smart.
But I ask you, where is the love in that?
Does not the Bible itself speak to those itching ears?
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim 4:3-4).
The Right Wing
I’ve been covering the Revivalists one by one, to show how they blended Enlightenment Rationalism, Catholic Pietism, Occult Mysticism, Social Justice, Millenarianism and Nationalism into Christianity, producing today’s carnal “Evangelicalism.”
So you Right-wing Evangelicals, it’s great that you’re taking the Gospel to the world, but these conflations have rendered it powerless.
And please tell me; where the love in idolizing a MAN as the savior of the nation you live in, while untold millions worldwide are suffering at the hands of the witches who hold the reins of power? Can’t you see that those same reigns control the man you are deifying?
NAR
And you NAR, Kingdom Now folks must be reading a different Bible than I am, because I sure don’t find your doctrines in any version I own. I encourage you to do some research, because your practices come straight from Occult Mysticism.
Your 7-mountain mandate is carnal. Taking Catholic futurism to the next level, you claim to have the authority to usher in God’s kingdom on earth, and you call this “revival.” You miss that God’s spiritual kingdom has already come.
Your practice of speaking things into existence is Hermeticism, sorcery branded as Christianity. Your obsession with prophetic revelations, angelic encounters, and “portals” is Gnosticism and Kabbalah; the pursuit of secret knowledge to gain ‘higher levels’ of enlightenment. It’s the serpent’s original lie in the garden; the divination of man.
You crave spiritual experiences because you don’t know God’s Love, which is not about fog machines, manufactured awe or personal breakthroughs—it’s about the Lamb of God laying down His life so that you might live. You’ve exchanged that love for a counterfeit; Replaced humility with control, selflessness with experiential indulgence. What you’re practicing isn’t Christianity it’s Mystery School SELF-love.
Renewal Weekends
And speaking of self-love, do you Renewal Weekend enthusiasts even care that the Ecumenical Tres Dias retreats you run off to every six months for another cathartic high are modeled after the ecstatic cults of the MYSTICS? What fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Cor. 6:14) And where is the love for your fellow man in your cliquish, secretive gatherings?
Tartaria
To the Tartaria, “little season” people; do you realize that your supposed carnal millennial reign of Christ erases the suffering of roughly 50 million martyred saints, people who were heinously tortured and gave their lives for the very Gospel you claim to hold dear? Is the mystery of advanced architecture really worth casting their sacrifice into the realm of oblivion?
Their stories weren’t just the scribblings of some writer of false history — they are the living testimony of the cost of true faith (Acts 5:41, 2 Tim 3:12, Rev 12:11, Rev 6:9-11).
Good for you for figuring out that a coming earthly reign of Christ doesn’t make any sense. But rather than realizing the spiritual nature of Christ’s kingdom, you try to puzzle together a new timeline. A different earthly millennial reign, literal throne, advanced buildings and technology that appeal to carnal eyes.
But Jesus said,
… My kingdom is not of this world. …(Jn 18:36).
Blending cherry-picked Scripture with the ideas of carnal men is what the Bible refers to as trading the truth for Myths and Fables.
and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (2 Tim 4:4, also 1 Tim 4:7, Jn 7:8, Titus 1:14, 2 Pet 1:16, 2 Thess 2:10-11)
The mangled Tartaria Little Season timeline is a Frankenstein mix of carnal doctrines. And, Paul Stobbs, it’s not “RevelationS,” it’s THE GREAT REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST. If you Little Season enthusiasts don’t know the Bible or believe that it’s reliable, then why use it at all?
Sure, they’ve twisted history, times and seasons. The level of deception in the world today is unparalleled—The flow of information out of control. My friend Christina put it well in her blog Wise and Gentle.

Yes, we’ve been lied to. But regardless of those lies, God’s Word and our purpose in this world remain unchanged. Her conclusion and mine is to wholly seek Jesus; the ONLY Truth, the ONLY One who offers spiritual life and can transform your soul with His Love. And pray for DISCERNMENT, because these matters are SPIRITUAL and cannot be reasoned out with the mind.
Here’s the thing guys; I think we are very likely in the little season mentioned in Revelation 20.
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not DECIEVE the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while…
And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to DECEIVE the nations that are at the four corners of the earth. (Rev 20:1-3,7-8).
Dispensationalists always ask, “If Christ’s kingdom has come, why is there so much pain in the world?” That faulty understanding comes from taking prophetic text literally. Reading the text literally, people are looking for a coming physical battle, but these words are symbolic, spiritual. Notice that satan hasn’t been bound from hurting the nations. He’s been bound from deceiving them so that the Gospel could go forth. He’s tried to distort it from day one, but God has met him at each juncture. It seems like we’re fast approaching the end of that time, the time spoken of by Paul to the Thessalonians. I like the Berean Literal version of this.
For the mystery of lawlessness is working already; there is only the one at present restraining it, until he might be gone out of the midst. (2 Thess 2:7)
I suspect we’re fast approaching the days where evil is as rampant as it was in the days of Noah. And according to what Jesus said, the battle against God’s creation will become increasingly physical.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matt 24:22)
We live in the most overwhelmed, preoccupied, and information-saturated society in history. Our televisions and phones constantly bombard us with fear of impending doom. At the same time, many of us are caring for family members with autism, dementia, or other serious illnesses — all while struggling just to make ends meet.
It seems no one has the time or the ability anymore to just sit and think. If they did, they might realize just how true the scripture is. They might realize that they are being deceived en masse and that the only thing that matters is eternal life and the hope offered through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Pet 1:13)
Carnal narratives like the Tartaria “Little Season” are distractions from that spiritual truth.
Exposing Evil
So, you want to expose the countless ways we’ve been lied to; from a false cosmology to the poisoning of our food, water, and air. You want to wake people up to the satanic practices of celebrities, the nanotech pulsing through their veins, frequencies controlling our climate and health, and the real agenda behind AI. That’s all fine, well, and good—and good for you for exposing evil! (2 Cor. 2:11, Eph 5:11-12)
But as you do:
Are you spending time with God in His Word? Are you sharing His love and the eternal hope of His Kingdom? Or are you merely spreading fear — keeping people focused on their carnal bodies and demon-tech while neglecting the condition of their immortal soul? (1 Jn 4:18)
Have you become so fixated on the kingdom of darkness that you’ve forgotten to proclaim the Kingdom of Light?
Have you been distracted from the fact that, regardless how long we’re able to put it off, death awaits us all? Because the enemy is not just out to poison the body. He’s after the soul.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10:28)
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. (1 Jn 4:18)
Pride and Love
Prideful, self-serving, itching ears are everywhere today, and they’re being satisfied by the Spiritual-sounding carnal nonsense being served-up in the name of Christianity; distractions that keep people looking earthward. And the tell-tale mark of all of them is that they lack Love.
This is not a new tactic;
They hold to a form of godliness but deny its power. (2 Tim 3:5)
THE POWER THEY DENY IS THE LOVE OF GOD.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is LOVE. (1 Jn 4:8)
THAT LOVE WAS AVAILED TO US THROUGH CHRIST.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (Jn 3:16)
And LOVE is the ONE commandment Jesus gave us.
A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (Jn 13:34-35).
Not the substance-less, gushy, amorphous “love” the world crows about, that’s nothing but a counterfeit of what we all know we need:
The love of our Creator— The very force that spoke light from darkness; the very meaning of life itself.
Friend, the God of all creation, the One who made the heavens and the earth, the One who knits together babies in their mother’s wombs and knows the number of hairs on your head—loves YOU! Not in some collective consciousness way, but personally, individually.
Think about that! THAT SIMPLE TRUTH is more powerful than any other.
And while we’re utterly incapable of it on our own, that supernatural love is OURS to receive, reflect and display through the power of His Holy Spirit!
But just as Jesus prophesied, that love is being extinguished.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Matt 24:12)
“Truth” is being proclaimed everywhere we turn today, but the only TRUTH that holds eternal weight is Christ’s ultimate act of LOVE.
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1 Cor 13:1-2)
If you claim to love the truth but find you’ve been swept up in one of the bandwagons I mentioned—or some other one, please ask yourself:
Does your narrative tell people about God’s LOVE for all mankind?
Does it steer them to Jesus and share His Gospel of Grace with the lost—or does it just feed your own ego? Because if it does, then your narrative is powerless; futile, carnal.
If the love of Christ is not in the “truth” that you hold so dear; if the Gospel you received leaves you looking for a more satisfying “truth,” then I’m sorry friend, but either what you’ve been sold is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ but another gospel (Gal 1:6), or you’ve been swept away by false teachings and forgotten the enormity of your salvation (2 Pet 1:9).
But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love. (Rev 2:4)
I’ve been criticized for digging too much into “that dark stuff” and told that I should “just focus on Jesus.” But where is the love in staying silent while believers are being deceived into endorsing violence against innocent people in God’s name—lies that turn their focus earthward and rob them of the joy of their salvation?
We need both. We need to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. (Matt 10:16)
That’s why I call these pillars of Christendom to question—not out of pride, but out of love for Jesus and His Gospel of Grace that’s been blasphemously twisted to justify all kinds of evil.
Who am I to say these things? Am I a scholar? Am I an ordained minister? A university-trained Bible teacher? I thank God that I am none of those things.
No, I’m just a blood-bought, spirit-born child of God. One who’s utterly unworthy of His love—and yet He loves me. He’s loved me through the good, the bad, and the ugly. And for reasons I’ll never fully understand, He gave me a glimpse into the spiritual realm that opened my eyes to the real nature of the battle we’re in.
Do I always get it right? No. Until we see Him face to face we will ever see through a glass darkly. (1 Cor 13:12)
But it’s hard to see the spell people are under, how they’re following self-promoting influencers who proclaim “truths” that distract them from the Truth Himself.
My heart sinks every time I’m talking to someone who claims to love Jesus, but all they want to talk about are politics and how to stay safe and comfortable in this world.
So, as I scrutinize false doctrines and misguided men, please know I’m not doing it to condemn anyone—that’s God’s job. I’m doing it to expose the deceptions that have so distorted the Gospel that many think they’re saved when they’re not (Gal 1:6; Matt 7:21); deceptions that have shackled spirit-born believers from knowing the miracle of their New Spiritual Personhood in Christ; deceptions that have turned countless people off to the very mention of Jesus because of all the carnal, powerless theatrics being peddled in the name of “Christianity.”
I thank God for every person who’s beginning to see through the flood of deceptions. But before you run off in your zeal and start up a Youtube channel, especially if you’re a relatively new believer, make sure you’ve been born in spirit (Acts 19:2) and make a diligent study of His Word. Because without His Holy Spirit guiding you, you won’t be able to discern either His Word or what’s really going on in the world.
If you’re unsure of your salvation, you can know His Love and His eternal hope right now. Just turn (repent), stop trying to find your meaning in this fallen world. Stop trying to be good enough to please God. You can’t. Just believe; solely place your faith and hope in Jesus.
Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30-31)
Jesus said,
He who comes to Me, I will in no wise cast out (Jn 6:37b)
I pray He enables all those who are in Him to comprehend His Love — so we will shine like the much needed light we truly are in this dark world. (Phil 2:15)
I’ll close with Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians.
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Eph 3:14-21)
