Reporter Dan here, reporting from the Deserts of Southern California, LOL. My drive Monday morning down the mountain was filled with lots of flash flooding, and many boulders on the road. Clear sky when I left San Diego, until I hit the top of the mountain heading into the Coachella Valley.
It made the drive interesting at least. The flash flood river heading into Palm Desert is a quick video I stopped too take. Just more wacky weather here in the southwest! Almost three inches of rain in less than one hour came down.
