Shaking off the Israel deception

Chuck Baldwin

Evangelical Christian leaders are chagrined at a newly released survey that found that younger evangelicals are less supportive of the Zionist State of Israel than older ones.

According to the Middle East Monitor, a Haaretz survey discovered that evangelicals under the age of 35 are “less likely than their older counterparts to offer unquestionable support for Israel, and are more likely to hold positive views of the Palestinians.” In fact, over 40% of the younger evangelicals have “no strong views about the State of Israel.”

This survey indicates that younger Christians are beginning to see through the Israel-First deception that their parents had fallen victim to. After over 70 years of mass Zionist brainwashing, it appears that the light of truth is beginning to penetrate the darkness.

It took over 30 years for me to awaken to the egregious error of Scofield’s dispensationalism and the misplaced preoccupation of prophecy preachers with Israel, not to mention the cult-like adoration of Christian conservatives for the Rothschild Zionist State of Israel.

Once accepted, propaganda is extremely difficult to disavow. For example, the survey found that 25% of all evangelicals still support Israel “no matter what it does.” I guess those folks forgot about all of those Old Testament prophets that God sent to pronounce judgment on (real) Israel for the great evils that it did.

Christians Zionists such as John Hagee, Robert Jeffress, Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Falwell, Jr. Pat Robertson, Ted Cruz, et al., will find this survey disturbing, but I find it hopeful.

Shaking off the Israel deception is a MAJOR necessity in returning our country to the liberty principles on which America was founded and returning modern Christianity to the Biblical principles upon which the Church was founded.

Maybe all is NOT lost.
